From 1988 to 1992, he studied undergraduate electrical industrial automation at the School of Information Engineering, Central South University of Technology, Changsha, Hunan Province, and obtained a bachelor's degree; from 1992 to 1995, he was enrolled at the Institute of Information Engineering, Central South University of Technology, Changsha, Hunan, to study a postgraduate of industrial electrical automation, and obtained a master's degree. From 2004 to 2008, he studied for a doctorate in computer application technology at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, and obtained a doctorate in June 2008.
