Department of Computer Science and Technology

Computer Science and Technology was first taught as a new discipline in our school in 1973. Later, the department of Computer Science and Technology was founded in 1986. After years of development, the department has formed its unique feature and superiority in many fields, like Knowledge Engineering and Intelligence System, Mobile Computing, High Performance Computing, Computational Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Big Data Technology, Grid Computing, Microprocessor Architecture and System Chip, Embedded System, Wireless Sensor Network, Software Engineering and Data Engineering, Network and Information Security, Internet of Things Technology, Digital Multimedia Technology and Artificial Intelligence, etc.

 

Department of Communication Engineering

The department of Communication Engineering was founded in 2003. It has distinct characteristics and superiority in fields like Broadband Network theory and technology, Wireless Mobile Communication, Optical Communication and Optical Network, Internet of Things and Cloud Service technology. Due to the foundation of the department of Communication Engineering, many important platforms of scientific research practice and teaching are able to be built, like the Beijing Converged Network and Ubiquitous Service Engineering Technology Research Center and Beijing Information Engineering Innovation Practice Base.

 

Department of Internet of things and Electronic Engineering

The department of Internet of things and Electronic Engineering, formerly known as the department of Electronic Information, was founded in 1997 and renamed the department of Internet of Things and Electronic Engineering in March 2011. The department has carried out research mainly in subjects like Internet of Things and Science and Technology, Intelligent Information Processing, Embedded Technology and DSP Technology, Human-Computer Interaction and Virtual Reality, Mobile Information Technology and Devices, SOC Application and Research, Bioelectronics, Network Application Technology, Applications of Electronic Technique, Digital Signal and Image Processing，Digital System Integration Technology. In addition, the department has formed its distinct characteristics and superiority in fields like Internet of Things and Applications of Electronic Technique.
